Terms of Service
MTW is a free, independent, algorithm-free music sanctuary. These Terms keep it a good place to be for everyone who listens, plays and talks here — in plain language, with no tricks.

In short
Free to listen, free to join, free to leave whenever you like.
Be decent: no hate, no harassment, no unlawful use.
What you post stays yours — we simply show it inside MTW.
01Accepting these Terms
These Terms govern your use of MTW at mtw.ae (the “Service”), operated by MTW (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Service you accept them. If they do not sit right with you, the honest answer is simply not to use the Service.
02What MTW is
MTW is a 24/7 underground music stream with a community built around it: live chat, the Galaxy wall, the Journal, the AURA sound sanctuary, the arcade, and Sonic Messenger for private encrypted messages. It is free to use and free of advertising algorithms. As the project evolves we may change, pause or retire parts of the Service.
03Non-profit, no sponsors, no advertising
MTW is a non-profit project, made for the love of music and for the people who listen to it. We take no sponsorships, we run no advertising, and we sell nothing about you — not your attention, not your listening, not your profile, because there is nothing of the kind here to sell. The only money that ever comes in is voluntary support from listeners, and it goes straight back into the running costs of the stream.
04Who can use it, and your account
You must be at least 13 years old. You sign in with Google, and the account is yours to look after: you are responsible for what happens under it and for keeping your details accurate.
05How to behave here
You agree not to:
—use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, fraudulent or abusive;
—harass, threaten, impersonate or attack anyone;
—post content that is hateful, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes someone else’s rights;
—flood, scrape, mirror or republish the Service or its content without our written permission;
—try to overload, disrupt or break into the Service or the systems behind it.
Breaking these rules can lead to a mute, a suspension or a ban, and to content being hidden or removed. We try to be fair and proportionate — but we act when the space is at risk.
06Your content stays yours
Chat messages, Galaxy notes, planets, comments and saved sessions remain yours. By posting them you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute them inside the Service — nothing more than what is needed to show them. You are responsible for what you post. Content on the Galaxy wall is tied to the name you choose, and you can ask us to remove it. Messages sent through Sonic Messenger are encrypted before they leave your device and may be destroyed once they have been read.
07Music, artists and intellectual property
The Service’s software, design, branding and original editorial content belong to MTW and are protected by intellectual property law. The music we broadcast is played with the authorisation of the artists and rights holders, and remains theirs. Please do not copy, modify or redistribute any part of the Service without our written consent.
08Payments and third parties
MTW connects to providers such as Google (sign-in), Stripe (payments) and external audio hosts. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to those parts, and we are not responsible for their practices. When you buy something in the shop, their checkout terms apply alongside these.
09Availability and disclaimers
MTW is offered “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that the stream never breaks, that a session never drops, or that a page is never offline. AURA sessions are a relaxation aid, not medical treatment, and they are no substitute for professional care. You use the Service at your own risk.
10Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, MTW is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability for any claim connected to these Terms is capped at what you paid us in the previous twelve months — which, for a free Service, is nothing.
11Ending your access
You can stop using MTW and delete your account at any time from your profile page. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are broken, or if the safety of the Service and its community requires it.
12Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time; the current version always lives on this page with its date at the top. Significant changes are announced in the app, and continuing to use MTW after a change means you accept the updated version.
13Governing law
These Terms follow the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute arising from them or from the Service is resolved in the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
14Contact
For anything in these Terms — questions, permissions, takedown requests — write to us through the Support page in the app.
